Downing Hawaii Surf Shop Sandys Skim Slam Sat Nov 15th 2008

Mens 21 & Under – 7 contestants/Mens 21 & Over – 6 contestants/ Womens - 5 contestants/ Mens Advanced (All Ages) -  7 contestans.  Total  25 competitors.

All skimmers competed in 2 heats of 10 minutes.  Three judges gave scores rating each running attempt a 1-10.  The 2 highest frontside, 2 highest backside, and the next highest score were added up for each judge.  The highest score possible would be five waves at 10 points each multiplied by 3 judges equals 150.  The four highest scoring competitors from Heat A & Heat B moved on to a 12 minute Final Heat and the scoring started over.  The Final Standings below are the scores from each divisions Final Heat.
